Where It All Began

It all started with a gift-giving dilemma. One Christmas, I needed seven (!) gift hampers, but everything I found felt predictable with the same alcohol and snacks, or generic bath and home products. I wanted something more personal, something that truly reflected the people receiving them.

After realising I’d have to visit six different stores just to piece together the perfect hampers, Kustomarie was born - a one-stop shop for thoughtfully curated, personalised gift boxes that feel genuinely made for them.

The name is a blend of my name, Katerina Marie, and the word custom, because I've always loved creating things that feel personal, meaningful, and designed just for the person using them. Thoughtful gift-giving has always been something I’ve cared deeply about, and that is what inspired me to turn it into something more.

There’s no big business behind Kustomarie (yet!). It's just me, my husband, far too many Canva tabs open, and our dog keeping us company in our Sydney home studio, while each box is carefully brought to life. Every order is created with intention and love, so you can give a gift that feels meaningful and special, without the stress.
